Day Dream ART Studio Mission
Day Dream ART Studio is Dedicated to providing high quality art expereinces for children and teens. Our Creativity-based program was designed with age appropriate classes for toddlers-teens. We provide a safe creative environement and experienced staff to guide artists of all ages in create works of art. We offer open ended process art classes along with more structured product focused classes for our older artists. Through art education, exploring, and play, the studio experience inspires and grows the imagination, and guides children to create in a way that will insure life long learning.
OUR POLICIES 
Registration : All class spots are first come first serve. A $25.00 registration fee is due at the time of registration in order to hold your space. In the event a class is full a waiting list will be started and an attempt to add a class will be made. classes with space will remain open for registration and late registrations will be prorated based on actuall classes left in the session.
Refunds and Attendance : Students are expected to arrive to class regularly and on time. Day Dream Art studio does not refund tuition unless we cancel a class due to low enrollment. If your child is unable to attend classes due to sickness a free class coupon will be issued.
Class Cancelation : Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather. Class credits will be givin to make up for weather closings. Day Dream reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. In the case of low enrollment cancelations you will be fully refunded.
Parent Participation : Unless a class is labeled as a Mommy/daddy and me class parents are expected to drop off and pick up. Our facility is not equiped to hold waiting parents.
Dress Code : Please wear messy clothes and shoes. Children will be painting, using ink, spray on paints, clay, and many other messy materials so please be sure to DRESS FOR THE MESS. Day Dream is not responsible for damaged clothing or shoes.
Art Work : All art work is to be picked up at the end of each session. Any art work not picked up will be discarded to make room for the following session. Please remember to pick up your child's works of art. We would hate to throw away master peices.

Lakisha Reid/Owner Early Childhood Instructor
Lakisha has worked for more than thirteen years with children from preschool to high school, supporting creativity through both visual and performance arts.
Lynn Gayno/School age course Instructor
Lynn has over 20 years of art teaching experience with all ages from birth to 18 years. She holds a BFA from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and a Masters in Art Education from VCU. She has taught in all sorts of settings- private homes, arts centers, the public schools system and day cares. She enjoys young children and the art they create and truly believes Picasso's quote that "Every child is an artists; the problem becomes how to remain one once they grow up."
Our Early Childhood ART Program: 2.5-5years old
Our Early Childhood program was created by Mrs. Lakisha Reid. Lakisha has over 15 years experience working with children of all ages. Many of those years were spent teaching and Directing pre school age children. She understands the need for children to play, create, and explore and she has created this porgram with that need as her main focus. All of the pre school programs offered at Day Dream ART Studio are open ended process art activities. Children learn so much in the process of creating and that is why we all them to freely explore and invent.
MESSY WITH MOM
Course Fee: $165+reg fee for 1st timers / 6 classes
Ages: 1.5yrs-2yrs

Course Description : Play with paint! Pinch and pound clay! Collage with glue! Watch your child’s little face light up as he/she manipulates and explores different art materials. Our open ended art activities encourage each child to experience the process of creating through art! By exploring different art materials through the sense of touch, we allow children the opportunity to develop their fine motor skills and increase expression and self-confidence all while having fun and getting messy! Moms, Dads or Caregivers participate too!
Mixed Media Art Classes
Course Fee: $180+reg fee for 1st timers / 6 classes
Ages: 3yrs-5yrs

Lead Instructor: Lakisha Reid
Course Description:This course allows young artists to explore painting with multiple types of paint using nontraditional techniques, clay work, drawing, collage, mosaics, paper mache, and more! The exploration will begin with sensory painting using textured & scented paints. Children will be encouraged to use multiple nontraditional paint tools to create interesting effects on canvas, paper, and other paintable objects. We will also explore fingerpaint, watercolor, and self made paint concoctions. The fun and imaginative play is endless in this preschool creative art program. We provide a creative space and a vast array of materials to facitlitate hours of open ended creative art activities. The Staff will encourage children to explore color, shape, patters, and problem solving while allowing them to express them selves through multiple art techniques.
Dramatic Play
